Sometimes it's not about creating a masterpiece.
Sometimes it equally feeds my soul to spend time walking in a wood, seeing good friends or spending quality time with my beloved baby grandson after being in a lockdown situation.
I have no idea how to crochet, I don't knit very well and I've had little opportunity to work with clay but other than that I have always been a prolific maker. From stage sets for panto to murals in public spaces, I have enough crafts made to fill a shop on my own - no problem. Over the last two weeks it's been face coverings, mask making for friends neighbours and and family. They've gone up to Scotland, over to Holland and just down the road. The arts have always been more than purely decorative.
Sometimes is more that making a masterpiece and more about making a difference.
