I love painting still life I can eat afterwards and fortunately I don't do the kind that involve dead rabbits or a brace or rotting pheasants. However, I don't trust myself to do the three C's either : cakes, crisps or chocolate. At the moments I'm painting healthily - fruits.

I am pleased with how the apples turned out, but the cherries need a little more work. Unfortunately that won't happen as I have already eaten them.
Must be something to do with the starving artist - or is that a convenient myth?
